FAQs

How long will my resin cutting board last?

With proper care, your board can last many years, developing character while maintaining its strength and beauty.

Are these boards meant for heavy-duty cutting?

Our resin cutting boards are designed to be both functional and artistic. They are excellent for light food prep, serving, and entertaining, but not intended for heavy-duty commercial use.

Will every board look the same?

No two boards are ever identical. Each piece is one-of-a-kind, featuring natural variations in wood grain and resin flow—making every board uniquely yours.

How should I store my cutting board?

Store your board flat or upright in a dry area, away from direct sunlight or heat sources to prevent warping or discoloration.

Do resin cutting boards require oiling?

Yes. Periodically oil the wood portions only using food-grade mineral oil or board butter to maintain moisture balance and appearance. Avoid applying oil directly to the resin.

How do I clean my resin cutting board?

Hand wash only using mild soap and warm water. Wipe dry immediately after washing.

Do not soak, dishwash, or expose to prolonged moisture.

Are resin cutting boards dishwasher safe?

No. High heat and prolonged water exposure can damage both the resin and the wood. Hand washing preserves the board’s integrity and finish.

Can I place hot items on the board?

We do not recommend placing hot pots, pans, or cookware directly on the resin. Excessive heat may soften or discolor the resin surface.

What materials are your resin cutting boards made from?

Our cutting boards are handcrafted using premium hardwoods paired with high-quality, food-safe resin. Each piece is sealed for durability while preserving the natural beauty of the wood grain and resin design.

Are resin cutting boards food safe?

Yes. All of our cutting boards are finished with food-safe resin and oils once fully cured, making them safe for everyday food preparation and serving.

Can I cut directly on the resin surface?

We recommend using the wood portion of the board for cutting. While resin is durable, repeated knife contact can cause cosmetic scratches over time. The resin areas are ideal for serving, presentation, or display.

Will the resin scratch or dull my knives?

Resin is harder than wood and may dull knives faster if used for frequent cutting. For optimal knife longevity, use the wood sections for chopping and slicing.
